Clarisse's analysis
Ted Bundy is one of the most notorious serial killers in American history. Convicted in Florida in 1979 and 1980, he confessed to around thirty murders of young women committed in the 1970s, before his execution in 1989. His story was the subject of the Netflix docuseries Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes. His birth time comes from his birth certificate, so we can read the houses.
Leo rising with Saturn and Pluto: the mask
His rising sign is Leo, with Saturn and Pluto in the 1st house. Leo cares about image, and that's the whole chilling mystery of Bundy: a charming, confident law student nobody suspected. Pluto on the rising sign is a hidden side behind a smooth front. At his trial, he even chose to partly represent himself, in front of the cameras.
Mercury, Venus and Jupiter in Scorpio in the 4th house: family secrets
The 4th house is childhood and family. It holds three planets in Scorpio, the sign of secrets. Bundy grew up believing his grandparents were his parents and that his mother was his sister. Mercury and Venus were retrograde: a childhood built on things left unsaid.
Sun, Moon and Mars in Sagittarius in the 5th house: overconfidence
Three points in Sagittarius, in the house of seduction and play. Overflowing confidence and a taste for risk. Bundy escaped custody twice before being arrested in Florida.
The bottom line
This chart mostly shows the gap between a Leo front and a hidden Scorpio side. Astrology describes tendencies, it doesn't explain crimes: millions of people share these placements and live ordinary lives.
Astrology describes tendencies, never excuses. Out of respect for the victims, this profile only covers facts established in court.
